My name is Alberto López, director of GuiArte Málaga
My name is Alberto López López, I have a degree in Art History from the University of Málaga, a Master’s degree in Architecture and Historical Heritage from the University of Seville, and I am a cultural manager, heritage interpreter and official tourist guide.
I have been working in this sector for almost 10 years. I started in the world of dissemination of the historical and artistic heritage of Malaga shortly after finishing my Master’s degree in Seville, since then, and until now, my professional life has not been detached from the cultural, historical and artistic spectrum of my city.
After working for the Museo Carmen Thyssen in Málaga, I decided to create my own company, GuiArte Málaga. Experiencias Culturales, focused on cultural management and heritage interpretation. Through it we manage, advise, organise and carry out private guided tours.
From here, I continue to collaborate with private cultural and heritage foundations. We also create new routes and guided tours to offer a more global, plural and diverse image of our city, creating high quality, educational and understandable content for curious and committed travellers and residents.
Our aim is to show that Malaga is much more than sun and beach; offering unique tourist-cultural activities, of quality and carried out with the soul, so that Malaga remains engraved in your heart.
